How to measure

Bust. Measure around the fullest part of your bust, across the nipple line and straight across your shoulder blades.
Underbust. Measure around your rib cage, immediately under your bust.
Waist. Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest point.
Hip. Measure around the fullest part of your low hip, roughly 20cm below your natural waistline, with the tape running across the middle of your buttocks.

A note on swim fit

Matteau swimwear is designed to sit firm on the body so it does not bag or wrinkle. Briefs and maillots feel firm going on but settle once adjusted. If you prefer a softer fit, size up.

The Shirred Bodice Dress in Garnet by Matteau

The Shirred Bodice Dress in Garnet by Matteau is the label's enduring pull on midi, now in a rich garnet red. Crafted from organic cotton poplin, it features delicate shoulder straps, repeated double elastic shirring through a self lined bodice and side pockets, falling into an easy mid length skirt.

Designed for warm days that run into evening, it pairs beautifully with a flat leather sandal for long lunches, or style it with gold jewellery and a woven bag for dinner by the water.
