Cleopatra's Bling sources ancient and rare coins from the back streets of the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, Turkey, recreating designs with them to make modern-day, wearable art. In Ancient Greece, the Gorgoneion (Greek: Γοργόνειον) was a special apotropaic amulet showing the Gorgon head, used most famously by the Olympian deities Athena and Zeus, both said to have worn it as a protective pendant.
Handcrafted and individually cast, each piece is unique, which we believe gives it its beauty.
